12 x 16, oil Another painting from a fall workshop that I took with Colley Whisson. Normally, I would have done a much softer approach to this subject matter. I like how it turned out.
I am an Atlanta artist mainly working in pastel and oil. Exploration of color is what drives my subject selection and for that reason southern landscapes frequently are the focus of my impressionistic style paintings.
So many mediums, so many subjects...never enough time! Please join me on my blog while I work fast and furiously exploring the world around me...through my artwork!

So dramatic! To me this seems very soft and loose. Love it!
