Chattahoochee Morning

12 x 9, pastel.  I did this from a plein air oil painting that I did this summer.  It was a hot summer morning and at first glance everything seemed so green.  The more I got into the painting, the more "variation on green" I found.  It was even easier to have more fun with the color when doing a painting from a painting!
